1.What is Rebamipide?

The chemical compound Rebamipide is named (±)2-(4-Chlorobenzamido)-3-[2(1H)-quinolinon-4-yl]propionic acid. It appears as a white crystalline powder; odorless with a bitter taste. It is soluble in dimethylformamide, very slightly soluble in ethanol or methanol, and insoluble in water.
